Central heating heats the whole house using warm water circulating through pipes, carrying heat around the home. Our systems have four major components:

Heat Source – Usually this is a diesel or gas boiler, or heat pump. This can be placed in a convenient location like the laundry, garage or externally.

Distribution – Water, warmed by the heat source, is distributed around the home through insulated pipes.

Radiators – Safe, wall mounted heat emitters, usually in every room, capable of heating up and cooling down quickly.

Control – Most systems have a wall-mounted thermostat. A thermostat monitors the room temperature and switches the heat source off when it’s warm enough, then turns it back on again if the room temperature drops.
